Privacy notice

Last updated 29 October 2026.

This notice explains how Curbo handles information: first on this website, then in the Curbo service itself.

Who we are

Curbo is a trading name of Mohammad Subhan Khan, a sole trader based in Crawley, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@curbo.co.uk.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no forms, and it loads nothing from other websites.

Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes the technical details that every website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and protect them from misuse.

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we delete them once they are no longer needed.

The Curbo service

Curbo is a WhatsApp assistant that driving instructors use to arrange lessons with their learners. When you message it, you are talking to your instructor's AI assistant, not to your instructor.

Who is responsible for your information

Your driving instructor decides how your information is used (the data controller). Curbo handles it on their behalf (the data processor).

What we keep

Your name and phone number, your pickup address, your lessons and payments, and the messages you send and receive.

Why

To arrange your lessons: showing free times, booking, reminders, payment details and receipts. Your information is never sold, never shown to other learners, and never used for advertising.

Who else handles it

Messages travel through WhatsApp, which is run by Meta. To understand messages and write replies, the assistant uses an AI service provided by Anthropic. They receive your messages so that these services can work.

How long

Messages are deleted after 90 days. Lesson, payment and receipt records are kept for as long as your instructor needs them for their tax records.

Your choices

Send "delete my data" at any time to remove your messages, contact details and addresses. You can also ask your instructor what information they hold about you. You have rights under UK data protection law, including the right to see the information held about you.

Questions and complaints

Email hello@curbo.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
